Course Details

This qualification develops the knowledge, skills, and understanding required to plan, deliver, and assess inclusive teaching and learning. Learners will explore the roles and responsibilities of a teacher, methods for meeting the needs of learners, and effective strategies for delivering education and training. The course also covers assessing learners, using appropriate teaching resources, and developing reflective practice to support continuous professional development.

Learners are required to complete an initial assessment in English, Mathematics, and ICT, identify development needs, and work towards an action plan. The qualification includes opportunities for workplace-based assessment and requires a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to plan and deliver engaging learning sessions, assess learner progress effectively, and apply professional teaching standards in education and training environments.
