Course Details

This qualification consists of a secure, externally administered assessment delivered via the exam board’s online platform. It evaluates learners across three key components: reading, writing, and speaking, listening, and communication (SLC). The reading assessment tests the ability to understand and analyse complex texts, identify bias, evaluate credibility, and interpret layout features. The writing assessment measures the ability to produce clear, structured, and accurate written work across formats such as emails, letters, blogs, and articles, with focus on grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The SLC assessment evaluates spoken communication skills through group-based scenarios, reflecting real-life and workplace interactions.

By the end of the exam, learners will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, analyse information critically, and produce high-quality written and spoken English at Level 2 standard.
