Course Details

This course prepares learners for a comprehensive Level 1 English assessment delivered through a secure exam platform. It evaluates key areas of English proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking, listening, and communication (SLC). Learners will develop the ability to understand and analyse texts, identify bias and credibility, and interpret how layout features influence meaning. The writing component focuses on producing clear and effective content across formats such as letters, emails, articles, and blogs, while applying correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. The SLC assessment measures the ability to communicate effectively in group discussions and real-world scenarios.

By the end of the course, participants will be fully prepared to complete the Functional Skills English Level 1 Exam with confidence and demonstrate practical communication skills.
