Course Details

This course provides in-depth knowledge of food safety principles, including food microbiology, contamination risks, and the identification and control of microbiological, chemical, and physical hazards. Learners will explore allergen management, personal hygiene standards, cleaning and disinfection practices, and pest control. The course also covers the design of safe food premises, selection of appropriate equipment, and the implementation of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). Emphasis is placed on applying the seven principles of hazard control and understanding food safety legislation and enforcement.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to effectively supervise food safety practices, implement HACCP systems, manage risks, and ensure compliance with food safety standards in their organisation.
