Course Details

CPD Paediatric First Aid covers essential first aid principles and life-saving techniques specifically for children. Learners will explore planning and preparing for emergencies, performing basic life support, and managing fractures, head injuries, shock, bleeding, and wounds. The course also addresses responding to medical conditions such as asthma, allergies, and seizures, caring for minor injuries like cuts, bruises, and burns, and maintaining accurate first aid documentation. Additionally, participants will learn how to assemble and use a paediatric first aid kit appropriately.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to act confidently and competently in paediatric emergencies, providing safe and effective first aid care.
