Course Details

This course covers the fundamentals of health and safety in construction, including identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control measures. Learners will explore common site risks such as slips, trips, falls, working at height, manual handling, plant and machinery operation, noise, respiratory hazards, fire, electricity, gas safety, chemical exposure, vehicle safety, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Practical guidance is provided to ensure compliance with regulations and foster a culture of safety. The course also prepares participants for the CSCS Green Card application process.

By the end of the course, participants will understand essential construction safety principles, be able to apply safe working practices, and be eligible for the CSCS Green Card.
