Course Details

This course provides learners with a strong foundation in the key principles of supporting children and young people within schools. It covers essential topics including child and young person development, safeguarding and welfare, communication and professional relationships, and equality, diversity, and inclusion. Learners will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in school support work, preparing them for positions such as administrative support, site support, technical support, or roles involving direct interaction with children and young people.
